H.263+ - VX2000S
Video Codecs
The Agora Labs VX2000S video codec conforms to both the ITU-T H.263 version 2 (February 1998) Recommendation (commonly referred to as H.263+) and the ITU-T H.263 version 3 (January 2005) Recommendation (commonly referred to as H.263++).
In addition to the basic video coding algorithm, the VX2000S video codec includes fifteen negotiable options for improved performance of compression, error resilience, and scalability. The optional features are selectively implemented depending on the application. The VX2000S video codec can also decode H.263 version 1, version 2, or version 3 bitstreams and is ideal for streaming applications in heterogeneous transmission environments.
